I wish to share an replace on the Home windows and Net Experiences (WWE) group following final week’s announcement and the creation of the Microsoft AI group.
Mikhail Parakhin has determined to discover new roles. Satya and I are grateful for Mikhail’s contributions and management and wish to thank him for all he has accomplished to assist Microsoft lead within the new AI wave. He’ll report back to Kevin Scott whereas supporting the WWE transition.
As a part of this transformation, we’re bringing collectively the Home windows Experiences and Home windows + Gadgets groups as a core a part of the Experiences + Gadgets (E+D) division. It will allow us to take a holistic method to constructing silicon, techniques, experiences, and units that span Home windows consumer and cloud for this AI period. Pavan Davuluri will lead this group and proceed to report back to me. Shilpa Ranganathan and Jeff Johnson and their groups will report on to Pavan. The Home windows group will proceed to work carefully with the Microsoft AI group on AI, silicon, and experiences.
The Net Experiences group will report into Mustafa within the new Microsoft AI group.
Jordi Ribas will lead Search, Maps, and Platforms with Andrey Proskurin, Fatima Kardar, and Nick Lee reporting to him.
Rukmini Iyer will lead Promoting with Paul Viola and Weiqing Tu reporting to her.
Mike Davidson continues to guide Design and can work with Pavan and group on realign Home windows design.
Ali Akgun, Kya Sainsbury-Carter, Qi Zhang, and Rajesh Sundaram’s roles stay unchanged. They’ll be a part of the Microsoft AI management group together with Jordi, Mike, and Rukmini, all reporting to Mustafa.
We’re excited for this group to assist Microsoft AI obtain its daring ambition to construct world-class client AI merchandise.
